Meet our Partner Funds
We were founded by our Local Government Pension Scheme Partner Funds to enable the pooling of their assets. They are both our customers and our shareholders.
Collectively, they are responsible for the pensions of more than 1.1 million LGPS members who work for around 2,800 employers, and are ultimately funded by local taxpayers.
Our work is centred on ensuring we make a difference for our Partner Funds by building a sustainable organisation that invests responsibly and effectively on their behalf.
Find out more about each of our Partner Funds and the Joint Committee below (all figures as at 31 March 2023).

Joint Committee
The Joint Committee (JC) is comprised of the Pension Fund Chairs from each of our Partner Funds. It meets quarterly and is the collaborative vehicle through which the Partner Funds provide collective oversight of the performance and direction of Border to Coast. South Yorkshire Pensions Authority provides the secretariat functions to support the JC.
