Introducing the Climate Opportunities proposition

Following the launch of Border to Coast’s £1.35bn Climate Opportunities proposition, Ian Sandiford, senior portfolio manager in its Private Markets programme, offers an insight into the decision to launch a proposition focused on supporting the global transition to low carbon economies for its LGPS Partner Funds. He also explains the sectors the fund will look to invest in, as well as the challenges of driving standards across Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) in private markets.
